Our
new camera (thank you, Mom and Dad, and luckily you didn't have to pay that price.), which takes such lovely pictures, does not seem to take pictures that can be uploaded to the blog. Certainly, there are also possible deficiencies in the computer (which is old) and the internet connection (which is often dysfunctional), but being irrational as I am tonight, I want to place the blame squarely on the camera. John took a fantastic video of Mimi in one of her most fantastic flaming fits this afternoon (I think that girl has a monthly quota of tantrums that she
absolutely must fill), and it cannot be shown. The blog mourns.

The Petersons mourn with you.
We simply must have a video of Screaming Mimi in full fit flower. Keep trying.
But Mimi is probably happy that we can't see it. :)
Maybe check the camera settings? I dunno. I'm not sure about the video aspect, but sometimes the picture settings on the camera do not correspond to a successful uploading on the computer.
The files are much larger than our old camera's files (8 mp vs. 2.1 mp--big difference). I will check the settings, but I'm not sure what to change them too. I'd like the full quality of pictures on my hard drive, but I probably can't have that same quality on the blog.
Sorry about the blog situation but congrats on the new camera! Glad to hear you survived interviews and your cross-country trek!
you could probably find a program on the web that will convert the files from your camera so that they are compatible witht he blog
