Quickly, quickly, I just want to share this darling chore chart PDF link for all of you moms out there who are looking for one. I like this one because it's fast, it's easy, it's cute, and I can change the girls' chores every week if needs be. Plus, I want to also share Sara's idea for a "Mom's Request" spot on the chore chart. It's the most genius invention ever. At least once a day my girls have to come to me and ask "What do you want me to do now, Mom?" It might just be to unload the utensil rack from the dishwasher, or I might want them to clean up all the toys in the basement. I get to decide every day. (They can't watch She-Ra on hulu, get out the art supplies, or play with their Webkinz unless their jobs are checked off, so they're pretty motivated.)
(The above picture is not my child. I love our chore charts, but my kids don't love them enough to pose with them.)

how early is too early to get daphne to start pitching in around the house?
Thats way better than the chore charts I had as a midget.
Even skipped days are to my advantage. More than once I've said, "This is your second Mom's request. . . you can fill in your circle from yesterday!" Surprisingly, the girls are usually still game.
What a great chart! I love the "What would you like me to do now, Mom?" That is a fabulous idea!:)
What? Couldn't one of your Mom Requests (most genius ideas, ever! I need to meet this Sarah person) be to have your darling children pose with their Chore Chart? I mean, come on! where's the spirit?
Very cute and clever! Zoë's been buggin' me to get her a chore chart...
So...I was looking up this chore chart, because we need one again, and the link doesn't work. Do you by any chance have a different link? I made one that will work, this one was just a lot cuter! :) Oh, and if Dan was out of town, I wouldn't say anything either. Our world is too creepy to let out that sensitive info! Looks like you had fun in Chicago though!
