It's preschool time! Actually, this is a staged picture. It represents the first day of preschool, but it was actually the third. Forgive me!Mimi is lucky enough to get to go to preschool with her dear friend Kacie. And don't they look happy to be together? You should see the two of them run down the sidewalk racing into class. It's delightful.
The preschool does not want kids to have backpacks for some reason, only tote bags. Luckily for us, my brother Rob (actually, Rob's then-fiance Kasey) found the perfect one for Naomi in New Orleans.
Don't anyone tell her it's a grandma bag, okay?

Yeah...so the grandma thing was a concern for a brief moment. But only a brief moment, it was pink, and cute, our hands were tied.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't take school pictures until the third day! Mimi looks so excited and I love her pink bag! One little girl at home, what are you going to do with yourself?
I don't understand what the preschool has against backpacks. They are aesthetically perfect for school. You'd think that tote bags would be harder to find...

So, we got Nan a pillow that said "Nanny's house is full of love." It was perfect. Grandma gifts are awesome!

I rather like preschoolers with book bags. The bag always looks massive on them cause they're so little. It makes me giddy.
