I asked Olivia to go out to the picnic table in the backyard and pick up the paper plates that she and Mimi had left out there after their lunchtime "picnic." She told me that she had left them out there on purpose, so she could pick them up on Earth Day, "You know, when you are supposed to pick up the litter to make the earth so clean."
I told her that Earth Day was a long time away, so I wanted her to go back out and pick up the plates today.
She responded with, "You know, I think you just don't care about Earth Day."
She's right.

I love it.
Tyson told me tonight that we really should plant a nice big tree in our yard on Earth Day. They must preach this in school...
wow, clever.
hahahehehehehhahah there are certain computer slang terms that i refuse to type but i wanted you to know that i was laughing real loud anyway!
PROPAGANDA! What are they teaching our children in school?
Every day should be earth day.. and with that every Sunday should be Mother's day. I could use breakfast in bed and flowers picked from my yard for me every Sunday (although the kitchen and my yard may not look so great after a week or two of that kind of treatment).
LOL! Now that is one way of 'going green' that I had never thought about! I say that there should also be a 'House Day' in which people clean their houses. That way I can leave everything until then. Go Olivia!
Em, you heartless brute, you. Celine and I are truly helping on Earth Day by eating popcorn and watching "Oceans" a the theater, well okay, truth be told, we are going to WALK to the movie, well from the parked car.
