What a man needs. . .

. . . is a Jeep!

And John bought a Jeep today.

It's obviously very manly.  John plans to make a big clubhouse-esque sign for the side that says, "No Girls Allowed."

How do you think that's going to go over with the rest of the members of this family?
Seriously, the girls have already been taken for a couple rides, and they have big plans of where they want to go in "Daddy's Jeep."   And what dad could possibly resist?

Congratulations on your new baby {boy}! He is sweet! A jeep does make a man pretty manly. And do I detect a lift kit?

I love the one sock on, one sock off. That's how Claire looks 99% of the time. Kelsey's new mantra is "at least it's better than none!"

I love the idea of a jeep! Especially since it sounds like there will be more Mom Alone Time with all the joy rides your husband will *suffer* through! :)

I keep coming back to your blog to look at the picture. I hope to see another pic with mud on it in the near future.

love it.

But the jeep just reminds me that you are ALMOST DONE with residency! Ahh! I'm so jealous. We are just approaching the half way mark when you include Matt's plan to do a 1 yr fellowship. I'm excited for you guys! I'll have to show Matt this post so he can see John's new vehicle. Sure beats the 4-runner.

Just DON'T ask if I'm wearing new colored contacts if you see that my eyes are green when I see John riding in his new jeep.

*sigh* so many good memories if jeeps- rolling upside down, sitting in a home-made back seat, riding with the top off and getting my hair whipped into a snarled nest mess (you might have to intrude upon John's manliness and insist on a baggie of hair ties/rubberbands for such occasions), and many more wonderful jeep memories...

...like the time my best friend and I pulled some strangers out of a ditch with her jeep to name one.
