We go to the beach.
We walk around and around on the sand with a sweet grandpa who loves us so much.
We sit on his lap and drink his juice.
We picnic in our swimsuits.
And we never take off our new flipflops. Except when we are splashing around like crazed hooligans.

And its just not summer without a huge juicy watermelon and its accompanying seed-spitting contest; or the double scooped cone of your favorite melting ice cream; or the way your skin begins to tan and brings life back into your poor pasty body... ahhh - summer time!
