Yellow Polka Dots

My brother Mike got married yesterday. We were supposed to be there, with plane tickets reserved and everything, but Annabel showed up a little later than anticipated. So, we scrapped our plans (at first with some bitterness), and are happily enjoying the week's vacation here in South Bend. It's lovely to have John around so much.
These dresses were made more than a month ago for the girls to wear to the reception. We wore them today to church, instead. I love having all my girls match, and I'm sure their willingness to match is not something that will last forever.
I caught some extra pictures of Bella. This one, with her funny, double-chinned, unintentional smile made me giggle.
And this is the picture that shows how she is most often when awake. Alert and happy. What a blessing to have such a good baby.

Those dresses are AMAZING! I LOVE them. The ruffles around the neck are just perfect. And those are some super cute hair-dos on your girls too. What a bunch of lovely little ladies. So sorry you didn't get to go on your trip. I hope you got a refund! :)
P.S. I LOVE the getting off the bus picture. That is just darling.

Congratulations on adding sweet baby Annabel to your family! We are very excited for you and are glad she came without incident. She really is beautiful, as are Olivia and Mimi in their new dresses. I love her dark hair and sweet face! About school...Jared starts 1st grade on Tuesday and Andrew will be going to another year of preschool starting Sept. 2. I love the kids being in school, the kids love being in school, and I think you will love having Olivia in school once the shock wears off. It is fun to see them learning to read and write and all the other new things they learn. We miss you guys in Toledo!
